Bread and Fred shows you not only beautiful landscapes, but also the creatures that live there. You are going to start your journey in a tiny village full of cute penguins of all ages and colours. They are all busy with something, including the main heroes. But suddenly they come up with the insane idea to climb to the peak of the mountain and head on to fulfil their intentions.

Surprisingly, you are going to meet the members of your species everywhere, even at an impressive altitude. Listen to their advice and follow the signs that are scattered here and there to stay on the route and not to occur in the dead end. Although, in the places like that you can discover curious collectibles, such as nice photos and pictures.

Moreover, the game gives you an opportunity to speak to the characters you meet and listen to their tales. Sit near the fire, warm your feathers a little bit and hear out an amazing story told by the experienced climber.

Although, to reach the most fascinating spots, you will need to work a lot. Bread and Fred offers you two ways on how to complete the game. You can either control two characters yourself and don’t risk anything, or try to rely on your buddy and ask them to join you.

Bread and Fred is all about cooperation, thus, it is important to learn how to direct your movements according to your current targets. Pay attention to both heroes, even if you are manipulating one of them.

The tiniest carelessness can drop you down for a hundred metres! Make use of the rope that connects the penguins and let one of you be the anchor, while the other one will swiftly swing to reach the next stand.

But note that the one who is holding the rope can’t do it forever and eventually you will fall if you keep swinging! Consequently, speed also matters a lot in the game. Look at the timer to watch how agile you are and whether you can beat the latest record.
